About the NeuHaven Associations

The NeuHaven subdivision is governed by three associations:

  • The Master Association
  • The Homeowners Association (HOA)
  • The Town Home Association

The Master Association is essentially charged with maintaining the Association-owned common areas (Open Spaces), while the HOA essentially is charged to maintain the single-family home community’s integrity. The Town home Association is essentially charged with maintaining their common areas as well as many exterior structural elements. Each Board is governed by its own document titled “Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Easements and Restrictions,” also referred to as the “CCRs”. These documents (a Master CCR and either an HOA or town home CCR) should have been supplied to each home owner upon closing of the purchase of their property.

Notice to Rental Owners

According to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Easements and Restrictions for Neuhaven Homeowners Association (CCR’s), Article 10, owners are required to submit a copy of the lease and NEUHAVEN HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Rider to Lease to the association management office (Associa).

Homeowners renting their homes without filing a copy of the lease and rider with the association manager will be fined.

If a home is rented, the owner is still responsible for paying all assessments on the property to the Association. The owner is responsible for providing the Association management firm a copy of the completed rental or lease agreement and providing a forwarding address and phone number. The rental agreement will be kept on file in the Association management office. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain the home and property in accordance with the CCR’s and all Rules and Regulations. Any violations will be the owner’s responsibility.

Delinquent Accounts

Any homeowners with delinquent Association accounts are encouraged to contact Associa to work out a payment plan. Delinquent payments result in late fees, attorney fees, court fees, lien and possible eviction (please see CCRs).
